Welcome to the Buckinghamshire Stroke Clinic, founded and run by Dr Burn, head of Wycombe’s nationally acclaimed Stroke Unit and clinical lead for Stroke, Neurology, and Neurorehabilitation in Buckinghamshire.

Dr Burn offers expert and comprehensive care to people with suspected Stroke or TIA (Transient Ischaemic Attack or “mini-stroke”). In over 15 years as a dedicated Stroke Consultant he has seen thousands of patients with Stroke and become one of the country’s leading experts on the management of Stroke and TIA. He was a contributor to the 2023 National Clinical Guideline for Stroke.

With a background as a Physician, Dr Burn is also an expert in treating the underlying causes of Stroke such as high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

Dr Burn runs regular clinics at The Shelburne Hospital in High Wycombe most Tuesdays from 3pm to 6pm. Appointments at these clinics can be booked direct via the BMI link below, or by calling 0808 101 0337 or 0808 274 6167 between 8am – 7pm Monday to Friday, and 9am – 1pm on Saturdays.
